Job description

We’re looking for an experienced, talented technical support engineer to join the team.

The right candidate should be motivated by the incredible opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking solution, creating immediate impact in people’s lives in a hot, topical space.

We are looking for a passionate and detail oriented engineer who wishes to take our exciting solution to the next stage as the business grows beyond initial POC’s.

Main Responsibilities

  • Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health

  • Work with engineers and business leaders  on resolving application production issues

  • Respond to second tier support requests 24X7X365

  • Maintain availability and reliability of critical platform services 

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Mathematics or a related degree (optional). 

  • At least 5 years of IT management experience

  • Previous startup experience - A strong advantage!

  • Experienced in working with AWS based SAAS products

  • Experienced in working with Linux and Dockers (ECS, Kubernetes
    and advantage)

  • Ability to code (Typescript on nodejs environment) and build internal support tools and processes

  • Previous experience in a certified environment (PCI, SSAE16, SOC2, ISO27001 etc.) - An advantage

  • A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks

  • Team player with true passion, creativity and motivation for backend and complex processes. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (also in English at a
    high level).

  • High level English proficiency, both written and verbal - A must!
