Job description

We are looking for energetic and dynamic Sales Development Representatives to join our growing sales team, you will be tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. The right candidate will be target driven, one who works well under pressure and thinks out-of-the-box. The SDR is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in Target Accounts. The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact. This role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts and performing outreach through emails, calls, and social media. This role is the first touchpoint for prospects and an opportunity to set the tone of the sales cycle following.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work on a targeted list of accounts

  • Working closely with our Head of Sales

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries

  • Take ownership of our lead qualification sales pipeline and funnel

  • Book demos with our sales team when an inbound/outbound lead reaches a qualified stage

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Sorbet’s product offerings

  • Generate and follow-up on leads and ensure success of the sales cycle

  • Find creative ways to bring more leads in, create prospects lists and reach out to potential customers via phone, email and social media


  • 1-2 years of sales/sales development experience with a great understanding of the sales cycle 

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Super social (online, phone, face-to-face)

  • Detail-oriented with an ability to see the bigger picture

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a global team

  • Experience working in the Fintech industry (strong advantage)

  • Native English level – MUST
