Job description

We’re looking for our first sales leader to build out Sorbet’s sales department and be our Head of Sales. Your work will define our sales strategy and execution  throughout the U.S. market. This is an exciting opportunity to start as an individual contributor in a cutting-edge fintech startup and potentially move to a management role in the future.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and lead our sales strategy with a clear vision

  • Target and close new accounts – develop and maintain a consistent and accurate pipeline and close deals 

  • Build a framework for growth and establish sales goals and targets

  • Design and communicate sales roadmaps

  • Work with C-Level Executives such as CFOs and CHROs 

  • Establish and manage channel partners in defined growth markets

  • Measure and forecast sales execution

  • Provide sales and account reports on a routine basis

  • Deliver an excellent customer experience

Requirements

  • Fast-learning autodidact who’s a team player with a can-do mentality that believes no mountain is too high 

  • 4+ years of B2B enterprise sales closing experience, managing end-to-end sales cycle - preferably with experience in B2B enterprise sales tech companies, and/or hyper-growth B2B SaaS startups

  • Proven track record in all aspects of sales: territory planning, client prospecting, deal management and sales closing

  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment 

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills 

  • Native English speaker (MUST)

  • B2B sales experience (MUST)

  • Experience in a fintech startup (great advantage)
